January 12, 2012CRANE Energy Flow Solutions’® Duo-Chek Low Temp DC Check Valve Obtains Shell TAT Acceptance for Lower Temperature Applications
Shenandoah, TX, USA (January 12, 2012) – CRANE Energy Flow Solutions®, a leading provider of highly engineered products for fluid handling applications worldwide, today announced that its Duo-Chek® Low Temp DC check valve has met the necessary testing and specification requirements for lower temperature applications. Capable of operating within the extreme temperature range of +450 degrees Celsius to -196 degrees Celsius, the Duo-Chek Low Temp DC has obtained Shell TAT acceptance and can be implemented in low temperature applications.

Other features include low leak rate levels compared with the industry standard API 598. The minimal back flow that results protects the rotating equipment and prevents unnecessary pumping costs. Additional cost and weight savings, compared to swing check solutions, can be attributed to its Duo-Chek design with API 594 face-to-face dimensions. The Duo-Chek Low Temp DC check valve is available in sizes 2"-16" and weights 150lb -600lb in class rating. Additionally, it features a 316 stainless steel construction for the body and plates.
