Position:        Maintenance Technician                            Business Unit:    Crane Energy Flow Solutions

Reports To:   Site Leader                                                  Department:        Operations

Basic Function:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the facility, machinery, and capital equipment.  This position deals with day to day maintenance repair, preventative maintenance, continuous improvement projects, and supporting the operation.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Maintain equipment and facility in safe operating condition
• Provide technical guidance to team members
• Write Preventative Maintenance program on new equipment
• Track and log work orders into system
• Follow priorities set by Operations
• Work with outside vendor support
• Participate in TPM Kaizen Events
• Improve machine capability
• Participate with ECAP on new equipment
• Assist with layout and equipment moves
• Maintain and improve preventative maintenance program
• Use data to evaluate equipment maintenance success
• Communicate problems with possible resolution
• Support business needs and resource requests
• Responsible for all aspects of day to day maintenance

Qualifications & Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Electrical certification preferred
• Technical maintenance experience
• Requires constructive and solid judgments.
